Harmonisation, Alignment and Coordination Donor Group (HAC)

The Government of Kenya during the CG of November 2003 requested that donors take steps to harmonize, align, and coordinate their activities with the aim of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of aid and of reducing transactions costs to government, in line with the objectives of the Rome Declaration of February 2003. The Harmonization, Alignment, and Coordination donor group (HAC) was established shortly thereafter as a subgroup of the Donor Coordination Group (DCG).
